I realized something on the way to the UPS store this morning (to drop off advance copies of the Thrive Journal…hurray!!)…
I’ve been in my head A LOT lately.
Listening to all the noise.
Listening to all the thoughts.
And let’s be clear: listening is important. It is a pathway to coming home to your truest self.
And yet…
I realized that my listening has been skewed. And a bit one-sided.
Because to my brain…as powerful as it is…isn’t the ideal channel to have on repeat.
And maybe just maybe, all listening only to my brain has led to my moodiness, my impatience, my feeling just a bit “off.”
And so I started to wonder. How does this act of listening impact our embodiment? Our thriving. Our energy. Our mood.
It became quite clear to me.
That perhaps this was my opportunity to change the channel. To consider what I want to feel, and listen to “things” that will help me feel more of THAT.
